Product Description
Mooti Pazham, once only seen in the Western Ghats region, has now widely grown in the home garden. Many farmers are now coming to the front to grow and harvest mooti fruit on a large scale. The ripened fruits are either rose-red or light yellowish colour. Many people make pickles with the fruit, but many consume the fruit as such. The fruit has a sweet-sour taste as raw. Most of the fruits are grown at the base of the tree, hence the fruit is called as mooti pazham or mootil fruit.
